“Love him,” said Jacques, with vehemence, “love him and let him love you. Do you think anything else under heaven really matters? And how long, at the best, can it last, since you are both men and still have everywhere to go? Only five minutes, I assure you, only five minutes, and most of that, hélas! in the dark. And if you think of them as dirty, then they will be dirty—they will be dirty because you will be giving nothing, you will be despising your flesh and his. But you can make your time together anything but dirty; you can give each other something which will make both of you better—forever—if you will not be ashamed, if you will only not play it safe.” (…) “Somebody,” said Jacques, “your father or mine, should have told us that not many people have ever died of love. But multitudes have perished, and are perishing every hour—and in the oddest places!—for the lack of it.”

Finding True Inspiration
So I read this book for one of my creative writing classes called Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott (I highly recommend for anyone wanting advice on writing) and I came across a chapter that was really helpful in terms of truly being inspired to write your pieces. The chapter starts out by saying:
"If you find that you start a number of stories or pieces that you don't ever bother finishing, that you lose interest or faith in them along the way, it may be that there is nothing at their center about which you care passionately."
I firstly felt very called out by this fact. But then I kept reading, and I understood. In this essay, I will try and explain what it means to write morally without being preachy.
Essentially what Lamott is saying is that everyone has some truth they must share, some core concepts in which you believe passionately and whole-heartedly. It is these concepts that drive a story. She's not of course saying to have some overall moral or message to your story. But characters in a book are in fact human, or at least have humanoid consciouses. Because of this, they are beautifully and wonderfully complex, just as humanity is.
You may want to write your stories because you got a cool worldbuilding idea or you want to use a cool character concept. You may want to include some really cool quotes you thought of in the shower or at 3am in bed. But as you write, "...what seems to happen almost organically is that you end up wanting your characters to act out the drama of humankind. Much of this drama does not involve witticisms and shimmer. Yet this drama is best couched in moral terms; the purpose of most great writing seems to be to reveal in an ethical light who we are." We inevitably make our characters into ourselves and those around us. As unrealistic as the world we throw them in may be, good characters should always provide a sense of grounding for the reader and a good foundation for the writer.
Why do we like the books that we do? What makes us drawn to certain characters? A good story is driven by good characters, this is a lesson I'm sure we've all been taught at some point in class or on the internet. But why is this? It is, in fact, because those characters are driven by much of the same things we are, "...they internalize some decency in the world... They let us see that there is in fact some sort of moral compass still at work here, and that we, too, could travel by this compass if we so choose." The plot only leads our characters together. And though they may find themselves lost, their compass still knows the way, unfaltering.
In my classes, we are taught the difference between "literary" works vs genre works. Literary works have some sort of lesson of life within them, while genre is very plot heavy and typically is predictable. I began resenting this esteemed view of literary and nonfiction is much better than genre, it means so much more. But of course, there are quite a number of genre works that can be considered literary: Lord of the Rings, Frankenstein, The Narnia Chronicles, Beowulf, to name a few notable ones. Some of the "classics" as they're called do have the intention of teaching some moral lesson. But this moral message doesn't have to always be a lesson; it's something you must care about passionately. We know that we live in a world of greedy dragons, we don't need reminders of this. Instead, tell us how we should live, how we should care. "A moral position is not a slogan, or wishful thinking. It doesn't come from outside or above. It begins inside the heart of a character and grows from there." Don't just write about the truth, write about your truth. Only then can you be truly attached to your writing. Only then can your readers be as in love with your story as you are.
(p.s. - I wrote this instead of actually writing an essay for school)

Rei Ayanami
Age: 14*
Home: Tokyo-3 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Blood type: Blue Fanta
Likes: …
Dislikes: …
Unit: -00
Evangelion’s older than some anime fans, even people like me who’ve never gotten around to watching Eva know it, it’s not a spoiler. But for the sake of people who haven’t heard much about Evangelion beyond the basics, I'll avoid anything more obvious than that.
Blood type has been changed as a joke.
Rei is fine. She’ll tell you that if asked, and she certainly looks fine on the surface. She doesn’t look happy, but it doesn’t seem like much of anything bothers her. She takes everything in stride, despite being a child soldier fighting an apocalyptic alien threat in Neon Genesis Evangelion. If Asuka is the iconic tsundere, Rei is the iconic kuudere.
What’s a kuudere? It’s a character (usually a girl) who seems calm, composed, and perhaps callous on the surface, a surface which hides her true emotions. Which are usually some mixture of kindness and affection for the main character, but Rei is a child soldier fighting an apocalyptic alien threat in Neon Genesis Evangelion.
I mean, that normal kuudere core isn’t completely absent. Rei does care about most people she knows, especially Shinji. She even occasionally shows emotion by lashing out at people who are mean to those she cares about! But those sorts of feelings are drowned out by a bunch of other neuroses, some focused on stuff I promised not to clarify further. The others are mostly clustered around her role as a child soldier etc, which has given her a martyr complex that Jesus Christ would consider excessive and unhealthy.
She’s also dreadfully undersocialized and doesn’t really…get social norms. Sometimes this is funny, like when Shinji harem-protagonists onto her naked body and she calmly asks if he’s going to get off. Mostly, though, it’s just sad.
What does Tumblr have to say about Rei (that isn't an overt spoiler)?
Idk man all the eva kids need a new loving home, they are all... unwell.
evangelion music headcanons r so funny because no i don't think rei listens to music, i think she listens to ambient sounds. if she does listen to music, it's classical. i think that before she made friends she didn't even consider music an option or just listened to music gendo gave her and only started opening up to new stuff after the other kids introduced it to her.
“It began when the director told me, ‘It's not that she doesn't have emotion, but that she doesn't know what it is.’ His technical request was that I should read my lines as flat as possible. But she's obviously not a machine; she's a human being, flesh and blood. It's a huge difference between ‘not having emotion’ and ‘not knowing emotion.’ After all, she could develop feelings, once she learned…”
(that one was quoting an interview with her voice actress)

Lol, I love that our Tav’s both horde their companions. They both had the same basic thoughts but it manifested so differently. Although I think they are the same level of protective considering Jubilee keeps casting Disintegrate on their former abusers. I love the silly little differences like that. My apologies for the extensive rambles but you seem to be having a good time with this so I’m gonna talk about how she is with each of the companions.
Generally, I think I’ve made it extensively clear in general she’s doting, affectionate and a sweetheart. She flutters around the camp giving everyone cuddles and kisses on the cheek and brings them their favorite pastries the way one would expect a cat to bring you a dead mouse. She also had a little system with her younger sisters when they were going places where she'd ask are my little ducks in a row” and they'd go “Quack” “Quack” to let her know they were still their and following her and she keeps doing it to the companions and is completely mortified every time. Additionally, she's mortified that she hasn't so much as kissed anyone before and she really doesn't want her companions knowing. The core of her character is an Edgar Allan Po quote I like “Tell me every terrible thing you’ve ever done and let me love you anyway.” And that’s a pretty good summary of how she is with all of them. (I doodled her with that quote awhile ago)
Astarion- She’s completely immune to his flirting on account of not liking men like that lol. He gets it however she still lets him feed on her which baffles him. Jubilee says simply he works just as hard as everyone else on the team so it would just be unfair of him to be hungry plus Shadowheart can fix her up. Astarion is baffled for a long while and honestly just kinda gives up and accepts it. She and Karlach wear him down with sheer platonic affection; he's not sure how he got friends that care for him so much but he is complaining because he has a reputation but, it will not stop her from being his buddy and he doesn't want that no matter how much of an aloof cat he acts like.
Gale-So these two actually manage to avoid the normal sorcerer/wizard misunderstanding because they are a cook and a baker. With both sorcery and cooking you can feel things out emotionally but with Wizardry and Baking everything has to be super precise so they actually use that metaphor to get a really good understanding. Don’t get me wrong they both maintain the other one is a dork but it’s very loving. She also gets what it’s like to be in a messed up romantic situationship because the main reasons she’s never dated anyone is because she’s had a weird thing with an aasimar of Bahamut who kinda used her to be like Bahmut’s magic can turn even a being of the bells kind however Jubilee was madly in love with her while deeply resenting the assumption she’s bad because she’s a tiefling and it’s not the same but it’s sorta like gale’s thing with Mystra and they commiserate because deeply resenting someone and being madly in love with them is a hell of a ride that they both seem to be on.
Karlach- So between being a tiefling and a gold dragon sorcerer she is far more fire resistant than most, even before the engine is properly repaired they find that if they submerge themselves in water they can touch without hurting Jubilee. That however does not stop the flood of affection after the engine is truly fixed, Karlach is carrying her more often than not and almost always have their tails twined together. They are the snuggliest bugs in all of Baldur’s Gate. At first Karlach is still worried about the temperature hurting her bear so Jubilee will hug Clive and Karlach will hug Jubilee.
Wyll- “Stop using helping people as a coping method for your trauma!” “You first!” They are kindred spirits, best homies, bros. The two have a blissfully normal uncomplicated friendship which is surprising because they keep getting put in situations. Gestures vaguely at the plot
Shadowheart-Classic Black Cat & Golden Retriever Duo. Jubilee is making it really hard to be a dark edgy cleric by being so cute and pastel and bringing out the best in everyone, including Shadowheart despite her best efforts. Shadowheart in particular loves Jubilee’s singing voice and seeks it out the melancholy tone of Jubilee’s music hits really well with her. They fight over who gets to sleep with Scratch and Truffles (Jubilee’s name for the owlbear cub) the solution is that all of them cuddle, usually Karlach joins the cuddle puddle once her engine is fixed.
Lae’zel- Jubilee has a knack for asking just the right questions about gith culture to please Lae’zel. It’s very similar to her dynamic with Astarion where she gets worn down by kisses on the cheek and sheer platonic adoration. Jubilee also really tries to say hey you don’t have to go straight from following Vlaakith to following Orpheus you and your wants are important too.
Minthara- Unfortunately I haven’t actually had a play through with minthara in my party yet so I don’t really know much other than Paladin, Drow and Hot. I do agree with you that Minthara would probably call her out on everything. I also think Minthara enjoys the fact she has two moms and has no weak male genes. Jubilee is definitely horrified by drow culture because she loves her family so much and can’t imagine any of what goes on down there happening. The constant culture shock these two would give each other is entertaining though.
Halsien-God they are creatures and they make each other worse with all their guilt and sense of duty. I think they should be released into the woods together.
Jaheira- Also calls Jubilee out, jubilee really misses her moms so latches onto her as mother figure. Jaheira is confused as to why her but has no objections because well what’s another one. She is the only person in camp Jubilee is willingly vulnerable around. Jaheira acts annoyed with this but always gives snippy but good advice.
Dame Alyin & Isobel (INSEPARABLE!)- Things are very awkward at first because of Jubilee’s previous experience with an assimar, at first she distrust dame alyin and then she’s just jealous of Isobel getting what she wanted and couldn’t have and it’s not helping that both of them are so hot. However she recognizes that they have been through enough and keeps setting up nice little dates for the two of them because they deserve a break and the world (Alyin keeps suggesting she joins, jubilee thinks it’s a joke it isn’t) and asks a lot of questions about Selune because she really doesn’t vibe with Bahmut and ends up actually getting converted through traveling with them.
Minsc & Boo(inseparable)- Boo likes to perch on her horns and Minsc likes anyone who boo likes plus she gives him pastries. He would also join her when she goes creature mode. She likes Minsc but she loves boo more than life itself.
Mizora & Duke Ravengard (please separate them actually)- the only reason she hasn’t kicked their asses out is fear of making things worse for or upsetting Wyll. She is hissing at them. In hard denial that Mizora is hot because she is so angy with her for what she did to Wyll.
In game she ended up with Shadowheart, but I have a few different endings in mind for her with different love interests.
With Shadowheart, they get that farm Shadowheart wants near some major road and Jubilee has a little cart where she sells pastries along the roadside. They acquire some kids' very much the picket fence dream.
With Karlach, they go to avernus and live in the house of hope (they killed raphel) karlach helps guard Hope & the place from more malicious devils while Jubilee works in the kitchens.
With Alyin & Isobel, She generally does not join them on their adventures mostly because she doesn't want too. Adventuring isn’t her thing & never was, she’s very focused on ensuring that after everything they’ve been through they both have a safe home to come back to and caring for the children Alyin definitely insists on as she wants to pass on her blessing.
I also toss around the Alyin,Isobel,Shadowheart and Jubilee poly as well as a Karlach, Shadowheart & jubilee poly but that wouldn’t change the ending much for the former the farm would be the home for Isobel & Alyin to return too and in the latter Shadowheart also works guarding the house of hope.
I’m sorry I know these are a lot lol. I just really like my little creatures
You've put so much love and passion into this and it shows ♡
I really like the endings, the idea that even after Jubilee led them all to victory and became the hero of Baldur's Gate, all she wants to do is settle back in a domestic place. How adventuring isn't her thing after having gone on the biggest adventure of the century.
That picture of her is so wholesome and heartwarming, most companions would be really touched if she said that to them.
Also, congrats to her on having the most healthy Wizard Sorcerer friendship ever, My Sorcerer and Gale were at each other's throats constantly and occasionally had to strip mid combat to switch gears. In their defence, they ended up buying and teaching him every scroll in the game, which cost a fortune, but they still are better than him.
The Isobel Dame Aylin poly offer is tempting, but I can see why she'd feel left out or that it would remind her too much of her ex. I mean one time I thought Isobel was too dirty while in camp so I threw water at her to clean her and Dame Aylin Immediately became hostile and started a fight. So i have no doubt she is willing to do more than that for Jubilee if someone steps on her tail.
The Karlach ending is very cute too! Two tieflings who just want a quiet simple life but can never seem to catch a break, it's almost fate at this point.

Corridor Digital Animes that are not animes Pt.1
Corridor Digital is an american visual effects (vfx) studio that primarily operates on youtube, making short films about pop culture characters, ideas or IPs.
They made three anime parody videos; Live action videos directed to resemble the anime aesthetic and enhanced with vfx to add some anime elements. The videos are: Anime Baseball (7 years ago), Anime Fidget Spinners (6 years ago) and Anime Self Driving Cars (5 years ago). Even though these videos are parodies the core anime identity is so strong that you can ignore the first layer of irony and really enjoy any of those videos as a random episode of an anime you never have seen before… but that you kinda have since they take a lot from popular media.
Anime Baseball (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVz_uZljJsg):
From the three this is the one I like the least, but it's the perfect example for my point, in the first few seconds you can see how the film direction mimics animation; there are a lot of “static frames” where the is very little movement while the character does a voice over thinking out loud, giving a lot of exposition for the viewer. Also across the video one can spot the use of movement lines drawn over the real video, and something I just noted today rewatching the video for this post, is the use of a lot of sound effects that are very silly. It's also funny to point out that those sounds are very weird by themselves, and would sound very out of place in any other kind of live action media, but here they blend it very well. At the end it feels like an anime with a very realistic drawing style.
Anime Fidget Spinners (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kIsEzEmI9w ):
I think fidget spinners were already a little old when this video came out, but also that was the point. Here we are presented with a universe where these toys have special powers, everyone has one (even evil rich people) and spinner battles are a thing. That description resembles basically all of the animes I saw as a child: Yugioh, Pokemon, Beyblade, B-Daman, Medabots, Bakugan… so watching that video for the first time I didn't need much context because I had seen the same thing so many times that somehow my mind filled the gaps for a non-existent anime. Here we also see some other classic tropes, like cutting the action with a random flashback that gives us more information than we asked for, making explicit all the motivations of the character we are looking at. Later at the “episode” the protagonist changes their weak and boring spinner for a more special and powerful one; In beyblade metal series Gingka kinda does the same every season getting a stronger pegasus everytime.
Anime Self Driving Cars (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZX7HbkdZ_s ):
This is my favorite from the trilogy and probably one of my favorites of all of Corridor. The premise is simple: Self Driving Cars are very good and people race in them, the protagonist has a car with a special computer made by its father that gets smarter the faster it goes. The first time I saw it I thought it was a little absurd, but if you think about it for a second, it's not much more absurd or weird than “Speed Racer”.
Maybe there are examples that contradict what i'm going to say, but in my anecdotal experience animes that have futuristic technology but that aren't particularly sci-fi don't explain much of the science behind things and this is not the exception, things just work, the following quote from the video is the perfect example: “I'm out of options… And there's only one thing left to do: I need to hit maximum speed so I have to disable the brakes… I know it's insane, but by disabling the brakes, Sunray will go fast enough to become smart enough to learn how to drive without brakes!”. I love that quote, it sounds like kid logic but at the same time I’ve things more ridiculous in real anime. The episode ends with a literal “Trolley Problem” (Often characterized with self driving cars in modern discussions) with an “Evangelion-like random philosophical ending” and I think that's beautiful.
In conclusion:
I think this is a recommendation disguised as an analysis, but I must repeat that I think its really interesting how the anime identity is so strong that we replace the medium and it still looks and feels like an anime, even when it's not supposed to be taken seriously.
As a last comment, Corridor Digital has made two other anime related shorts, but those are completely different. The episodes where filmed in live action and then “converted” into digital anime with AI and other tools, those are interesting… but I will talk about them in more detail on part 2 ;)

Yesss info dump time :D
Transformers explained in a TMNT context!
Mirage/Eastman & Laird: Sadly TF did not start as an indie passion project, that was then licensed and made into toys. TF started as a toy line acquired by Hasbro, that were given names and backstories to sell more.
'87 series: TF began with a VERY similar, endearingly campy cartoon in 1984. Fans call this Generation 1 or G1. (It's free to watch on the Hasbro Pulse Youtube channel, check it out!!) Unlike TMNT, there is a huge rotating cast of characters rather than just 4 core characters (to sell those toys), but some of them are pretty iconic and really fun.
The movie: The 1986 movie is a trip. Unfortunately Hasbro, in their greed to sell new toys, makes a huge misstep and unceremoniously (and infamously) kills everyone off to replace them with new characters (= toys). But it's cult classic material, with iconic songs (YOU GOT THE TOUCH!), iconic quotes (aforementioned universal greeting) and a surreal star-studded cast including Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle, Weird Al.
"Red sky" 1987 series: G1 continued for 2 more seasons after the movie, also with a noticeable change. There's new characters, more episodes set in space, and Optimus Prime returns as a zombie(? I honestly haven't finished it, pre-movie G1 is where my heart is at)
The 90s: While TMNT had its animatronic suit era, we had Beast Wars. Instead of vehicles they turn into animals. The CGI aged like milk. Optimus Prime is replaced with a gorilla named Optimus Primal. (Not my cup of tea, but it is well loved by fans who grew up with it.)
Bayverse: To its credit, the first Bayverse movie in 2007 sparked a revival in the fandom. It is what got me into the fandom. BUT, if you didn't like TMNT Michael Bay, this is sooo much worse. There are FIVE movies, not two. And the second was written BY BAY during the '08 writer's strike... that one hurt my soul and is the reason I ditched Bayverse.
IDW Comics: IDW acquired Transformers in 2007 as well. The early comics were okay, written for a more mature audience. But the James Roberts era (More Than Meets the Eye/MTMTE and Lost Light) is where it SHINED. It will make you laugh. It will make you cry. It will make you feel things about sentient cars. There's a STELLAR fan dub of the first issue here you can watch here!
...and that brings us to the present. It sounds like you already know Bumblebee and Earthspark! Rise of the Beasts is a bit of a return to Bayverse, but has some Bumblebee coziness too. Word is that there's an animated film coming soon too, our first since 1986!
I think it's an exciting time to enter the fandom. I admit I am biased: I'm a queer AFAB who loves the fandom because of attachment to specific characters, rather than because I like seeing giant robots beat each other up. But (even if it's selfish) it makes me so happy that fans like me are being made to feel welcome recently.
Sometimes another fandom I was in/piece of media I liked will randomly grab my attention for a couple of days and its a shock every time-
It used to be that I would dart from fandom to fandom too fast to even make any fanart or anything for it- but the turtles have very solidly grabbed my attention, so now its that I love the turtles and then sometimes I love the turtles AND something else
This time it was FUCKING TRANSFORMERS GODDAMN IT THATS MY BROTHERS THING NOT MINE
but... Bumblebee 😭😭😭😭😭😭
#Transformers#TMNT#teenage mutant ninja turtles#yep having big feelings about sentient robot cars is REALLY weird#probably why I'm so nonchalant about liking anthropromorphic turtles now lol

About Jazz🌼
" Jazz is seen as a flower full of sunshine, always wanting to help(even if it wasn't asked) and loves being involved, especially in her baby bro's life. After the accident, Jazz vowed to make sure she was always there for him but ends up facing far more than she was prepared for. Doesn't mean she's going to give up, definetly not on Danny!"
Personality:
Tbh I love Jazz's personality so much already. Her positivity, wanting to look mature, her protective caring nature, wanting to be involved. I wanna keep that.
Ngl she was giving me Hazbin Hotel Charlie vibes, when I was designing her. I see her be not just be involved in Danny's life but always wanting to help, even if it might not have been asked. She sees the world through rose colored glasses and feels even the darkest of hearts can be brightened if they had some care.
I wanna keep her OG quirks, her being meddling, trying too much to be mature, overprotective. I also want her to be the type who can be too much give, being a bit(ALOT) of a people pleaser, tending to overextended herself and her kind nature and love to help being taken advantage of. She's always wanting to make everyone happy, even at her own cost.
Something I REALLY want for her is to use her knowledge and skill in psychology to help the ghosts with all their baggage and troubles. It would defiebtley make Danny's job easier and can make the ghost a friendlier place. I really want her to become a therapist for humans and ghosts.
Facts:
Headcsnon VA- Collen O'Shaughnessey(OG VA), Jill Harris(Charlie, Hazbin Hotel), Elsie Lovelock, Halsey, Ashly Burch(Molly McGee, The Ghost & Molly McGee) Taylor Louderman(Little Miss Perfect).
Abilities- Knowledge and skill in psychology, sunny attitude and perspective, rational, cautious, very caring, compassionate, responsible, knows ALOT of inspirational quotes, the type who would survive a horror film by just not making stupid decisions, has a drivers license, can cook, knows how to play the clarinet and saxophone, athletic, has first aid and CPR training, team player, knows self defense(Danny too, their parents probably would want to make sure they can fight for themselves, got the idea from @tachvintlogic ), good with a camera, also inspired from @tachvintlogic who sees Jazz have an interest in photography and would do anything for the people she cares about!
Weaknesses- Tends to be meddling, overprotective, too trusting and nice, has had her kindness taken advantage of, not too hard to manipulate, has trouble loosening up, can be pushy, has trouble when not in control of situations, trouble relating to her fellow adolescent peers, push herself too hard, tends to overextend herself, too much of a giver, putting herself sometimes into some trouble and has trouble knowing when she needs to ask or accept help.
Drinks ALOT of tea. Her fav is jasmine tea with lemon and honey🌼🍋🍯
Fav color is teal💙💚
Fav ice cream flavor-Vanilla🍦 and doesn't give a hoot about anyone saying it's so basic.
Totally has a fannypack.
Very involved in her school. Loves to help with School pride weeks, celebrations, charity causes, donations, student support, etc.
Has totally done things such as pottery, knitting g, making jewelry etc.
Total theater kid🎭
Does Yoga along with cardio and early jogs. Always wants to keep her core.
Likes to try DIY spa and skin treatments on herself💆♀️
Likes- Psychology, positivity, good vibes, tea, starbucks, healthy food, beaches, yoga, meditation, poetry, scented oils(for smell and things such as stress and feeling down), paisley swirls, jazz music, classical music, metal music, musicals, lofi beats, podcasts, public radio, feng shui, looking like a "mature and sophisticated adult", nature, flowers(fav Jasmine flower), floral prints, sunshine, rain, rainbows, bubble baths, reading, reading while having a bubble bath with jasmine tea, arts & crafts, making vision boards, scrapbooking, puzzles, documenteries, karaoke, rules, responsibility, things being clean and tidy, organizing, watercolor painting, exercise, mental health, singing, helping her school, helping her fellow community, helping others in general and LOVES her family.
Dislikes-Negativity, Mental health ignored, stigma on mental illness, bad vibes, pranks, Spectra and her manipulations, swearing, greasy junk food, storms, messes, clutter, her family's ghost craziness(especially when it causes trouble for the family), ghosts(until she got to know them better and found out Danny's a halfa), shenanigans, looking "immature and unsophisticated", what Adam and Barbara listed in things they didnt like in Fright of their Lives(Beetlejuice), tea burns, stains, cup marks, when people don't use coasters, bad feng shui, people hurt or unhappy and HATES when her family especially Danny's in trouble.
Even though she prefers healthy food, likes to have greasy junk food when she's down or not feeling well. Guilty pleasure.
Morning person🌞
Keeps a first aid/med kit in her bag⛑️
I can totally see her take Tai Chi. Good for fighting and for your core and bringing peace between your body and mind!
Totally has or is in a book club📖
Applies ALOT of sunscreen🧴☀️
Closer with my Sam and Tucker. She and Tucker know eachother more since he and Danny were childhood besties. Would totally survive a horror movie story together. And as different as she and Sam are, she's happy Danny has another friend who has really helped him out of his shell and introduced a new world for him. I also see them bond for their love of nature, helping others, art and self-expression not to mention teach each other some important things. Sam to help Jazz enjoy being a kid and Jazz help Sam plan and think things through better. I also see them rock out to Death Metal and rock together🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Tends to make a personal psychoanalysis on the people around her, including her family.
Similar to OG Jazz's Bearbert Einstein bear, my Jazz has one based on Erik Erikson(8 stages of psychosocial development), Bearick Bearickson. Also has another based on his wife Joan Erickson who was a huge contribution for the stages, even making a 9th stage about experience new challenges with continued aging and incorporates all the previous 8 stages🐻🧸 They help her with stress and moral support. She named a lot of her stuffies based on psychologists and philosophers.
What do u think? How would u rewrite Jazz? I'd love to know💖

Guess who finished Mockingjay and is ready to rant again! It's me! This is Part 3 of THIS and THIS post! So, here is some of my favorite Peeta Mellark moments from Mockingjay! I have decided to include what other people say about Peeta as well in this one because he does spend like a good third of the book being captured by the Capitol and then another little bit not acting like himself. Mockingjay is rough and I cried a whole bunch even though I've read it like seven times! Fun! Anyway, to the post!
Book 3
Favorite: One of my all time favorite lines of the whole series is one from Mockingjay about Peeta and that is: "Because Haymitch loves Peeta too." I love how many moments there are throughout the book that shows how much both Katniss and Haymitch love and miss and worry about Peeta. They are both so excited and relieved when he's home, they are both desperate to know if he's okay, and they both know how he operates. When Coin doubts Peeta's information about the attack on 13, Haymitch and Katniss both immediately fire back that they know that Peeta would do anything to protect innocent lives, even if it means he gets hurt. Side note: this man literally fought through not only the threat of being tortured and killed, but also the horrors of trackerjacker programming to get that message out and save all those people.
There is also the moment between him and Katniss when they first start playing "Real or Not Real" where she says all the little details about him that show just how much she loves him and how much about him she notices and cherishes. I also love that the first question he asks is if her favorite color is green. Because this is something that The Capitol wouldn't think was important, but it was the marker of them really truly becoming friends and the one of the first moments in a long time between them that The Capitol wasn't privy to their lives. Plus, I have a whole other rant about the importance of color in the Hunger Games, but I'm getting off topic (classic).
Underrated: All of the little moments during the mission in The Capitol where Peeta is finding himself again and sounds like himself. The moments of sweetness and his sense of humor that is never at anyone's expense are just so touching. And it shows how even though he has gone through trauma, he is still him and, as Prim tells Katniss, the core goodness of him can't ever be erased and is always fighting to get to the surface. One of these moments is when he comforts Pollux before they head down to the sewers and when he keeps the group moving during the lizard mutt attack.
Sweetest: The scene at the end when he gives Katniss the primrose and says that he wants to plant them outside the houses, giving her the spark of hope to keep moving forward. And him playing with his daughter and son makes me absolutely sob every single freaking time. I love dad!Peeta so much. He's so freaking cute.
Funniest: Okay, Mockingjay Peeta has very little room to be funny because he is majorly going through it like everyone else is. But there is a darkly funny line he gives to Caesar after his first propaganda interview where he's essentially like, "can I go back to my room and make another thousand card houses." Like he is beyond pretending like The Capitol treats him at all well.
Badass: Peeta is an underrated badass and you can quote me on that. The way he tries to protect others while he's captured, the bravery he showcases during the whole ordeal, and the fighting skills he utilizes during the attack on The Capitol. I also love when he yells at Caesar during the interview, like gets in his face and shouts, when Caesar tries to implicate Katniss in the Quarter Quell business. Like even though Peeta probably knows that Katniss knew exactly what she was doing, he still is playing the game and, knowing what that all entails on his side of things, refuses to let them try and bring her back into it, just as Katniss does the same for him with Coin.

Hi! You seem to be pretty well-versed in Lucas' idea of how things work, and I have a question if you don't mind? I'm trying to figure out how the Force is supposed to work (I'm new to the whole digging deep into fandom thing), and I was under the impression that there's good, and then the Dark Side is greed and stuff and its existence represents unbalance, the Force isn't supposed to be like Yin/Yang. But then I came across this Lucas quote someone quoted:
"I wanted to have this mythological footing because I was basing the films on the idea that the Force has two sides, the good side, the evil side, and they both need to be there. Most religions are built on that, whether it's called yin and yang, God and the devil—everything is built on the push-pull tension created by two sides of the equation. Right from the very beginning, that was the key issue in Star Wars." -George Lucas, Times Magazine, 2002 Which seems to be very much the classic "good and bad both need to be there" haha. So I was wondering if you had any thoughts? Or if you're super busy just a link to a meta you've done before is fine haha.
Hi! I've thought about this before, too! And my understanding of that quote is that it's not that Lucas is saying the Force is like Yin and Yang specifically, but that Yin/Yang is an example of the bigger dynamic he's talking about: Things are built on a push-pull tension created by two sides of the equation. Because even in that quote, he says that there's a good side and a bad side to the Force, which is very much not applicable to Yin and Yang, which isn't good vs evil, but more about two opposite forces that complement each other. Like absorption versus emission or earth versus heaven or day versus night or passive versus active. Those things are all good in the right time and place. In contrast, the Force is about compassion versus greed, love versus fear, selflessness versus selfishness. While the latter aren't necessarily evil, terrible things (and can sometimes serve a specific purpose), in the way of the Force, they're present within us all and meant to be overcome, that you cannot embrace them in your heart. "The core of the Force–I mean, you got the dark side, the light side, one is selfless, one is selfish, and you wanna keep them in balance. What happens when you go to the dark side is it goes out of balance and you get really selfish and you forget about everybody … because when you get selfish you get stuff, or you want stuff, and when you want stuff and you get stuff then you are afraid somebody is going to take it away from you, whether it’s a person or a thing or a particular pleasure or experience." --George Lucas, The Clone Wars Writers’ Meeting Both of these concepts are built on a push-pull dynamic, that Yin/Yang is about finding balance within the presence of both, but the Force is about overcoming the dark side as much as you can. ("Only way to overcome the dark side is through discipline." --George Lucas) It’s not that both good and bad need to be there in Star Wars from within the universe, but that they simply are there, that there is always evil in the world, and it’s everyone’s job to work towards the light and choose the good whenever we can. But that from a storytelling point of view, they both need to be there because otherwise what’s the point of telling a story in that universe?? It needs to be there in the sense that, if you don’t, it’s a boring story that no one would want to see, that’s why he frames it with “I was basing the films on the idea”, because it’s a narrative need. And that ultimately one of the important messages Lucas wanted to put out with his movie is: “Knowing that the film was made for a young audience, I was trying to say, in a simple way, that there is a God and that there is both a good side and a bad side. You have a choice between them, but the world works better if you're on the good side." --George Lucas You need to have a push-pull dynamic in the story to convey that message to the audience, but this specific story is about how you’re meant to choose the good! So, the comparison to Yin/Yang is a little clunky, but I don’t think he’s saying that the Force works the same way, just that he’s using it as an example of what kind of dynamic he means and how universal that push-pull thing is all across cultures.

I know you’ve mentioned kill switches in the past, but how does one actually make them?
I haven't really given a ton of advice on how they can be made, so I'd be happy to give some examples.
First, for anyone who hasn't seen the enchanting post where I mentioned kill switches, here's a quote and you can click it for the whole post.
Build in a kill switch. If all else fails, you should create a connected spell specifically to tell it to stop functioning. I’ve done this in the past by pairing the object to a piece of paper with the name of the object on it. I tell the object to stop casting the spell if any part of the paper is burned or ripped/cut through the name written on the paper. This is an extra important one for any spell/enchantment that affects someone else’s life.
Kill switches are something I use in long term spells, like enchantments. They can also be used in spells you cast and wait for results, though once something's in motion, it might be harder to stop. It's really context heavy and depends on the spell.
So there's an infinite way to do this, like most things in magic. My favorite is the paper method above (mostly because it's easy to remember which kill switch goes to which spell). A classic method (though I honestly don't know if it comes from tradition or fiction) is to say the spell you spoke when making the spell backwords. You could simply have a word or phrase you can say to stop the spell. The trigger can be anything you want.
But how do you apply it to the spell? Well, that depends on how you personally create or cast spells, but there's two core ways. Either build it into the spell when you first cast it, or cast it afterwords and layer the spells.
You can include the terms of kill switch as a spoken component of your original spell. So when you're saying the other parts of your verbal spell you include "When I say 'spell deactivate' the spell stops". "Spell deactivate" can be anything you want. A made up word, the spell/magic phrase backwards, ect. Just make sure it's not too hard to remember (or write it down), and something you'd never accidentally say.
You could do something similar with a petition, writing out the details rather than saying them.
If you're working with sigils or carving into a candle, or using some other form of visual symbolic writing/drawing/carving you could include the kill switch conditions there.
If you're working with visualization, or energy work, or something like that you could make or visualize a cord between a physical kill switch object (paper or something) and the spell.
Basically the best way to do it is to just include it as part of the spell when you make it. Alternatively, you could do something similar to all of this by casting a second spell over the first spell to amend it's conditions. This normally works fine, so long as you remember all the details of the first spell and there's no conflict in conditions.
When I enchant something I'll include the kill switch instructions in the spell, then I'll write it's name on a piece of paper and tell the object "You are Owl Pendant. This is your kill switch." verbally, talking directly and clearly to the object itself. I've already explained to the enchantment what to do if the kill switch is activated, but I might repeat to it "If this paper is burned in any place, or torn in a way that intersects the ink spelling your name, the kill switch is activated and your spell will stop functioning immediately." You should build this whole process, however it looks for the type of magic you're doing, into the initial casting of the spell, but I've found it doesn't hurt to clarify as well.
I think that's about as basic a lesson I can give on the topic without going into "how to cast a spell", which is something that's pretty unique to everyone and there are countless methods and countless variations on those methods.
I personally recommend everyone think on how to create and apply a kill switch when they create any spell, just as a best practice, and just in case something unexpected goes wrong. It's one of those things you may never need, but can save you a lot of trouble if you prepare before hand.
I hope this was helpful. If you have any follow up questions or have some specifics you're trying to figure out, feel free to ask or send me a DM, I don't mind lending a hand.

Professor Grantaire headcanons
I had the bad idea to start talking with @p-trichor about Grantaire as a university professor (in Classics, because of course it’s in Classics) and it has gotten a bit out of hand. So here you go.
He’s a deeply polarizing professor. You either love him, or you hate him.
Mostly, he is one of those professors who will come to class with a horrible hangover and ramble about a class-adjacent (at most) topic for forty-five minutes instead of talking about the actual subject.
On the other hand, he basically gives good marks to everyone who goes to class, because “the education system is a sham anyway, you might as well have a good time”.
In general, having him on a core/first year class is a curse, because he sucks as giving solid foundations or anything resembling a coherent course; but he has a loyal following of older students who consistently ask for him to give Master classes because he actually does know a lot!!
That said, he’s not allowed to take grad students under his supervision anymore. Among other things, he considers that getting a depression is an integral part of the PhD experience. Not even as a sadistic thing, just a fact of life. So if you go to him saying that you don’t feel good about your research, he will just pat you on the shoulder, go “me too, my friend, me too” and offer you a drink.
He forgets what classes he’s teaching half the time. After a few years of routinely giving the wrong lecture to the wrong class (”sir, we are supposed to be working on Euripides, why are you quoting studies on Virgil?”), he now just points to a random student on the first day and goes “you! Congratulations, you are the official reminder. From now on, at the beginning of every class you will remind me what subject this is and where we are in the syllabus.”
One year the head of the department gave him the responsibility of coordinating the Second Year, because “he needs to start pulling his weight around here”. It was a disaster of such epic proportions that he has never been asked to do any administrative work since.
There is a mattress in his office and there are rumours that someone saw him walk around the building at seven in the morning with bedhead and a toothbrush in his hand. In reality, he just lives on the outskirts of town, so whenever he goes out drinking with Bossuet and Joly he just crashes in his office.
He has a flask that he drinks from at all times. There are so many bets going around about what’s inside. (Coffee. It’s coffee. He just likes his image.)
I hope you enjoy this! Stay tuned for Part II, ExR edition!

books recs <3
Literary fiction
Giovanni's Room
the kind of book that’s best if you go in blind. just know that baldwin remains a classic for a reason. his writing makes me want to gnaw on my own wrist (affectionate). his use of motifs makes me want to pull out a cork-board and pin up snippets of pages just to connect them with bits of red thread. devastating, raw, heart wrenching, tragic, other adjectives of the sort
Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead
gilda is a deeply mentally-ill atheist lesbian who’s ends up getting hired as a receptionist in a catholic church when in search for free therapy. subsequent shenanigans ensue and by shenanigans i mean she’s just … spirals. this novel is sharp, funny, deeply relatable (isn’t that reveling), and at it’s core utterly human
Fantasy
A Marvelous Light
ok hear me out: for fans of our flag means death, i found the perfect edwardian fantasy romance for you. god this book is such a delight. robin gets the thrust into magical society after he mistakenly gets declared a liaison. obviously he falls in love with his magical counterpart, who’s prickly and obsessed with libraries. it’s quite possible that i am a tad in love with him. super interesting magic system + lush setting (also the author is a host of an absolute banging podcast called ‘be the serpent’)
The Poppy War (and subsequent installments)
where do i ever begin. the world building is brilliant and rooted within chinese history. it’s gritty and dark and so bloody smart. rin is the epitome of the post that’s like ‘i’m a girlboss, i’m a war criminal, i’m the next virgin mary, i will defeat god’ (paraphrased clearly). i simultaneously love her and want to shake her vigorously by the shoulders. she is my little meow meow. oh right plot. to clarify, rin is poor orphan who manages to gets into sinegard, an prestigious military school, and there she discovers her connection to shamanism. discusses the harsh realities of war and explores the depth of relationship formed because of it
The Midnight Lie
YA fantasy that has surprisingly complex conversations about class, compulsive heterosexuality, exploitation, and toxic relationships. still tbh the relationship is what kept me reading. every interaction between nirrim and sid had me giggling, twirling my hair, looking way abashedly, the works. the lines “Nirrim, I can’t be good to you. / Then be bad.” make me want to scream into a pillow like an early 2000s disney movie. i’m so tired of love interests in romcoms being describe as swoon-worthy when they’re just some guy. sid on the other hand; she’s this delightful butch who kisses girls’ palms and compares them to indigo flowers and — jfc moving on.
Non-Fiction
In the Dream House
memoir recounting an abusive relationship framed through vignettes of narrative tropes/literary devices. so fucking devastating and haunting. dream house as: queer villain, ambiguity, choose your own adventure, and death wish; all really suck with me. really think everyone should get this a read if you’re in the right place for it
Sister Outsider: Essays and Speeches
brilliant collection abt racism, sexism, class, homophobia, and the ways they overlap “Guilt is not a response to anger; it is a response to one’s own actions or lack of action. If it leads to change then it can be useful, since it is then no longer guilt but the beginning of knowledge. Yet all too often, guilt is just another name for impotence, for defensiveness destructive of communication; it becomes a device to protect ignorance and the continuation of things the way they are, the ultimate protection for changelessness.“
Poetry
Crush
if you haven’t yet read a richard siken quote yet while scrolling through this hell-site i commend you because how. is there really anything else to say. wishbone is a particular favorite of mine but every single word in this collection makes me feral
Devotions: The Selected Poems of Mary Oliver
the only time i will ever be willing to frolic is after reading an oliver poem. i come out of the experience feeling rejuvenated? compassionate? with the understanding that yes rocks do, in fact, have feelings, why wouldn’t they?
If Not, Winter: Fragments of Sappho
big fan of this specific translation. should be considered the lesbian master doc. that’s probably problematic. well anyways. the bit when she describes very literally fainting after hearing a woman’s laugh from across the room. slay! she’s just like me fr

Ignoring time period and whether or not they're the kind of person to actually USE this app, what would the ROs put in their tinder bios? Are they funny? Witty? Sweet? Are they sharing a favorite quote, is it super cliched, is it just bragging? etc
Hmmmmm 🤔 good question, I'm not sure I know enough about Tumblr to do this justice, but I'll try!
Lestrade:
They would have very few followers and even fewer likes/notes. Big time lurker, not very big on sharing and reposting.
The few publicly shared things are vague black and white pictures and work-related tips—"How to stay safe when walking through an alleyway at night", "The three biggest serial killers in London and their surprising profiles".
But secretly, they would have written down a few blogs that they regularly check up on. Sherlock's and Watson's blogs, cottage core pictures, and a well written fan fiction page about their guilty pleasure favorite tv-show (a dramatic and slightly immature cop-drama, that they watch while screaming at the tv—when the show does things incorrectly or when the will-they-wont-they main leads are quietly pining for each other.) They might have sent an email to the creators of the show when they showed an impossible victim disposal method.
Watson:
Their personal blog would almost exclusively have followers that know them in real life. On there, they re-blog cute dogs, cats, ducks, peaceful scenes of nature, and pretty prose from books they've read recently. Not deeply personal, really, but very Watson, and quite a warm and positive place. They always repost Sherlock's posts.
Their other blog, which would be immensely popular, details the adventures of Sherlock (and Watson). Filled with funny and clever writing about the cases Watson has experienced with Sherlock. They would also offer some behind the scenes tidbits and answer some questions.
The tone wouldn't be "braggy"—just a very well written read with unbelievable stories.
Wait, tinder bios... that is just the little beginning bit isn't it? Damn, my reading comprehension is great... Well, I already wrote all of this so I might as well continue! (Sorry for probably not answering the ask correctly!)
Adler:
Many pictures of people and bodies with good mood lighting... slowed down sexy gifs and quotes that would be blush-inducing if read in public.
They would use a pseudonym that links to their person, but no one ever figured it out. Once in a while, they tease their identity or location, but so far, no one has been clever enough to crack the puzzle.
Once in a while, they might post something political, like a vague version of "tax the rich" or something possible personal like "Sometimes I wonder what they would be doing today."
Hamish/Helena:
They would have a public inspirational and lifestyle blog. Pictures of pretty things, how to act and be happy. Would reblog other popular followers—and would be gaining status and repute very quickly. Which they probably would then use to network or use in some way.
They would also have a private blog where they would post and repost about classic books, news, sombre music—all with a dark academia/royal aesthetic. I'm thinking pictures of large bookcases and tea sets + purple and white flowers. Slightly too serious quotes and posts. A photo or two of their favourite horse.
They follow everyone else's blogs. Often, they want to comment on them, but they never do.

Dsmp Hogwarts AU, except it’s all the characters and I go into why they are what they are, please reblog this took a long ass time
Man, what a title Huh? Anyways, this will obviously go over the characters and not the content creators, because in some cases those are vastly different
Also, before we start, I will go over an important thing that I will mention probably a few times, and that is the difference between Hufflepuff Loyalty and Slytherin Loyalty.
Both of these houses value loyalty, but in very different ways. Take for example that you’re a spy who has their best friend as their partner, and you’re out on some super important mission. Let’s also say that your partner got shot and is close to death, and the only way to save them would be to abandon the mission entirely.
A Hufflepuff would try to complete the mission because it would be the best for all, while the Slytherin would abandon the mission despite the fact that it could result in countless deaths, just to save their friend.
See it as Selfish Loyalty vs Selfless loyalty. Both are great things to have, but are still different.
Anyways, on with the show
Tomathy Danger Kraken Careful Innit
I have seen people try to argue that this boy is a Hufflepuff because of his loyalty and such, but gosh darnit everyone this child is a god damn Gryffindor. I mean, one of his main character traits is that he’s brash and too brave for his own good. The reason he got fucking exiled is because he burned down George’s house without thinking of the consequences, and then just screamed at Dream without thinking of the consequences. The same goes for Ghostbur’s “death”, it was because he had no real plan except Stab Dream with an axe. So yeah, Gryffindor
Wilbur Soot
Slytherin, 100%. This man has created one and a half nation, one entirely out of spite, he was both a general and a president, he’s a smart lil fella, and he managed to hold his own against the god of the server. I don’t even thing you guys wanna argue with me here
Tuberculosis Underscore
This one is tricky, because it’s really between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw for me. Like, he does possess the Hufflepuff loyalty™ plus he is very kind, but he’s also one of the more logical and observant characters we have in this server (The bar is very low let me tell ya). But I think I will have to go with Ravenclaw, just because like, the boy invented nukes. He built fucking nukes. So yeah, a very chaotic Ravenclaw that will spout bee facts at you, be prepared
Technoblade
My man is a Ravenclaw, no doubt about it. I mean, he started talking about an old greek myth in the middle of a war? Just Ravenclaw things amiright?
Philza Minecraft
I will have to go with Slytherin on this one, simply because of the large amount of Slytherin Loyalty, but also because of his cunningness and resourcefulness, but for real this was very tricky, simply because I don’t like to think about c!Phil too much because as some of you may know, I kinda hate him (Not the cc though, obvs, he’s awesome)
Ranboo My Beloved
Hufflepuff. This boy’s ideology is literally “Choose people, not sides”, he’s an honest and compassionate boy who works hard, and has a very open mind. He’s literally the by the book Hufflepuff
Eret
Honestly, Slytherin. I mean, they are ambitious as fuck, both shown by them betraying L’Manburg for the throne, but also by working hard towards their redemption arc. They are also a good leader of the smp, and in general a great role model to have
Nikki Nihachu
This one is actually difficult, simply because Nikki has gone through quite the character arc the past couple of months. She started out kind, sweet and loyal, a classic Hufflepuff. Then she joined the syndicate and straight up tried to kill a child, which is less Hufflepuff but who am I to judge. But in her core, as seen through her discussion with Jack about Tommy’s revival, she is still a good person that works hard for what she believes in, wants the best for everyone (Despite sometimes working in her best self interest) remains kind through it all. So yeah, Nikki is a Hufflepuff, just a bit of a sadistic one. But we can’t all be perfect ya know?
Fun Jonathan Michael Vincent Georgina James Sus Dy Soot
Ah, my favorite character, and also one of the best examples of a Ravenclaw. And I ain’t saying that just cuz I’m a Ravenclaw, Fundy is one of the most Ravenclaw characters out there. He’s creative, Clever, Spontaneous, Witty, Curious, Sharp, and a real trickster. The idea of Ravenclaws being the goody two shoes kids that always does their school work is just false, we never do our Homework and instead sit and read about things we find interesting, and Fundy is a good example of that. Also he was quite the eager learner during the Dreamon Hunters arc, which again is a good example of a Ravenclaw. So if Ranboo is the by the book Hufflepuff, then Fundy is the by the book Ravenclaw.
Dreamwastaken
I’m pretty sure it’s confirmed that Dream is actually a Slytherin, and I ain’t arguing with that. This boy is cunning, sly, a leader, traditional, Self-Preserving, and a master with words. There is not much more to say here, apart from the fact that Slytherins main colour is literally green, so it all checks out, this boy is a snake.
George Lore
Mr not found over here really is hard to pinpoint down, simply because his main character trait is his apathy, which isn’t really a trait for any of the houses. I was discussing this one with my girlfriend, and both of us were pretty clueless of what to do with him. I was thinking if Hufflepuff since they take the ones that don’t fit anywhere else, but then I was reminded of the most recent Dream XD stream, which showed us one thing, and that is that George is clever, observant, and Sharp Minded, all the traits of a Ravenclaw. Sure, he could also be Slytherin as he was both cunning and sly as well, but I think Ravenclaw fits him more personally.
Sappitus Nappitus Boyhalo
Finally we have another Gryffindor, there’s been a serious lack of them on the list. My man is a fighter, he’s bold, he’s brave, he’s passionate, he’s confident, and he doesn’t really think that much of the consequences of his actions (Cough the pet war cough), so yeah this boy a lion.
Punz
Ah, Punzie, the mercenary themself. Tbh, I know very little about them because Punz don’t get involved that much in lore unless they are hired for something. I mean, they were in the eggpire, but even then they were barely involved, which is sad cuz I like Punz. But what we have seen of Punz is that they are someone who does not care about you or what you want, as long as you pay them. They are power hungry and self preserving, which means that I have to put them in Slytherin.
Jack Thunder1408 TV Manifold
The boy who I can’t help but be sympathetic towards. Jack is also a hard character to pin point because of the reason that he’s gone through quite the development. Jackie boy is a very broken character that has literally been through hell, so it’s hard to properly sort him. He’s quite confident and clever, yet cunning and resourceful, so for me it’s either Slytherin or Gryffindor. But I do lean towards Gryffindor more, partly because of his stubbornness and gullibility, and part because of all the fire imagery that’s associated with him. I mean, the cc described him as burning inside, he’s been through the scape of fire and death, and he burnt his nation to the ground. In case you didn’t know, Fire is the element of Gryffindor, so yeah, another red and gold boy.
JSchlatt
Schlatt is as both charming, charismatic and calm in the early days, using subtle manipulation tactics to get his way and achieve ultimate power. He’s ambitious, narcissistic, cunning, and tyrannical, while still hiding it all behind a facade of smiles and waves. He could also be both cruel and irresponsible at times, aka the time he had an underage child drink during an event, but ya know, mistakes. So all in all, I think it’s pretty clear that he’s a Snakey boy.
QuackityHQ
As much as I love CC!Quackity, I also fucking hate him because of the many, many different directions he’s taken this character which makes it possible for him to fit in literally any of the houses. The duckie is both Chaotic and lawful, he’s both friendly and hostile, he’s a smart cookie and a fucking dumbass, so like bruh. But, I’m gonna have to go with how he is now, which is manipulative, power hungry, cruel, and strong willed. Aka, another Slytherin.
Karl Jacobs
Finally, a character that is not broken down to the point of barely making out a readable personality. Karl is a kind and funny person, who is very open to new people considering how often he gives tours to visitors and new people, and he is quite literally loosing himself traveling through time in an attempt to help people. Hufflepuff
Awesamdude
This one I know will be controversial, but I’m saying Hufflepuff on him. Sam is one of the best cases of the Hufflepuff loyalty, literally letting both Tommy and Ghostbur be stuck and ultimately die in the prison just so he wouldn’t risk Dream breaking out. Before that point he was very kind and gentle towards Tommy, literally building a robot to keep him safe and take care of him. Sam nook is a reflection of Sam’s feelings towards Tommy, and they are kind and gentle.
Dropsbyponk
Ughhhh, another tough one. Ponk is a chaotic being who is mostly neutral in conflicts, but is shown to be very open about their feelings towards those they care about, like Sam or Foolish. They seem to be have strong feelings in what they believe in, and can be a bit brash sometimes, not really caring about the consequences of their actions, which is what makes me say Gryffindor for them.
Badboyhalo
Our favorite muffin demon. I assume, I don’t know what life you live. Anyways, Bad is like the stereotypical Hufflepuff. The kindhearted, well meaning, sweet, responsible Hufflepuff. The Hufflepuff that’s like in all of those incorrect quotes blogs and “Slytherin and Hufflepuff friendships uwu” posts. But for real, Bad is very Hufflepuff. He does however have Slytherin Loyalty, considering he pretty much sacrificed the entire server for Skeppy, but if you would try to convince me that Bad is a Slytherin I will just laugh at you
Skeppy
It was at this point I realized what I’ve gotten myself into with this post, which you know, not fun. Skeppy is both cocky and filled with energy, with a real ambition to cause chaos. He’s also shown to be willing to sacrifice himself for the person he loves, Bad, when he gave himself up to the egg. I’ve seen some people say Slytherin, but I’m kinda getting Gryffindor from the lad, so yeah, another lion.
Antfrost
Frosty here is a kind hearted person that for the most part seem to be along for the ride. He reminds me a bit of a parent of toddlers, with his patience and serenity towards the more chaotic people on the server, so of course my natural instinct is Hufflepuff. Buuuuut, then there’s again the issue with the egg and the Slytherin loyalty, this time towards his boyfriend Velvet who he was willing to join a cult for (relationship goals) but again, you can’t really say Ant is a Slytherin considering how wrecked he was about what he did while in the eggpire when he was released from it’s grasp. So yeah, Puffle boy
Captain Puffy
Oh captain my captain, you are such a Gryffindor. And some of you may disagree on that, stating that she’s a Hufflepuff or something (I did research before this to check what other people think, I know) but naaah, she a lion. Puffy is very motherly and protective towards other people on the server, especially the minors, but in the way that a Bear is protective towards its cub, which is gentle towards them but fierce towards others. Puffy also falls natural in the role of a leader as seen with Pro-Omelette, but that is kinda expected since she’s a past Pirate Captain. But she wasn’t the leader she was supposed to be, as she waited quite a while to act against the eggpire out of fear of hurting her friends, which lead to quite the damage towards the rest of the server. She’s also been shown to act on impulse, killing Antfrost and taking one of his lives after he killed her son. Idk if this is a good explanation of why I believe Puffy to be a Gryffindor, it sounds more like I’m claiming her to be a Slytherin or Hufflepuff, but she is a Gryffindor I promise!
Foolish Gamers
Foolish is a kind and friendly being, if not a bit naive and easily distracted. He’s also not the brightest person, in fact I’d go as far as to call the guy a Himbo, and he can be a bit skittish sometimes if he’s stressed or haven’t taken a break in a while. But despite it all, the guy is someone who’s creative and hard working, with a brilliant mind for his building. The man is an artist who can get grumpy if you suppress his creative aura, and put his heart and soul into his works. He also has a habit of getting wrapped up in big projects, and ignoring sleep or personal care until he’s finished them. This all leads me to say that Mr Gamers is a Ravenclaw, just not the smartest one. But hey, we can’t all be geniuses, can we.
Slimecicle
Slime is very naive and very trusting towards people around him, taking every word they say as a fact. He can also be a bit dark and ominous at times, but quickly shakes it off as nothing important. This all makes him quite childish, which is very hard to sort, so I’m gonna say Hufflepuff for his friendliness and move on.
Purpled Bedwars
I actually started loving this guy the minute I saw him, purely because Purple is my favorite colour, like my man has taste. Purpled, like Punz, is a guy who helps whoever pays him the most. He’s not interested in most things on the server, too busy looking out for number one (And Dogchamp of course). He’s very self reliant and resourceful, but still quite passive. He may not be the most ambitious guy, but Purpled is definitely a Slytherin (It also brings me and my girlfriend Serotonin knowing that the mercenary siblings are both in the same house, we love those two)
Hannahxxrose
I don’t watch Hannah that much, but god I love her voice, it makes my lesbian little heart happy. Hannah is a friendly person who is very naive about the conflicts on the server, thinking it all can can be solved by placing a rose (God I wish). She’s a good decorator and a good hearted person, who unfortunately fell victim to the egg’s influence. I’m going with Hufflepuff on her, but I’m honestly not entirely sure as I don’t know that much about her.
HBomb94
H is a very well meaning person that only really wants people to be friendly towards each other. He had a strict moral code and he keeps to it, as shown where Fundy tried to get his help with blowing shit up. He’s very helpful to those who ask and is willing to back up his friends when it’s needed, which makes me say that the friendly totally not dirty cat maid is a Hufflepuff.
Connoreatspants
I just want you all to know that I’m writing this before Connor’s lore stream that surely will just go against everything I say because fate hates me, just so ya know. Connor is not a person that does stuff on the server with lore and he for the most part keeps to himself, so this is a bit hard. Connor also has this thing where he likes to say things just to confuse him, and also making a bit of cursed lore, but he’s still a fairly humble person. He does lie and steal a bit, and has this habit of moving into other people’s houses, but I digress. I’m actually leaning towards Ravenclaw on him, for some reason, so that’s what I’m going with until I have more of an established character.
ItsAlyssa
I know she has left the server and stuff, but she was one of the original members so it would be a crime not to include her. Alyssa is a bit chaotic, often going on killing sprees, or burning down the trees outside of L’Manburg. So I’m placing Alyssa in Gryffindor, but to be honest I don’t really know at this point.
Callahan
How do you sort a person who does not speak, stream, or show like anything of his personality? The answer is, you don’t. Hufflepuff is the house of those who don’t fit in anywhere else, and that’s where I’m placing him.
Vikkstar123
Please log onto the server I’m begging you, I didn’t watch you as a kid and honestly know nothing about you. From what I’ve seen of Vik he’s a very humble person that tries to stay out of it all, instead forming a land together with his bro Lazar. Honestly my instincts say Ravenclaw and I trust my instincts, so I’m putting him in Ravenclaw
Lazarbeam
Lazar was actually a big part of the exile arc which I realized after already have written his, so now I gotta rewrite it. Lazar is fairly ambitious on the server, and has the goal to obtain the most powerful objects on the server just to rival the other strong members of the smp. He’s especially against Tommy, and aims to do a lot to be the opposite of him, aka well respected and not a war criminal that got exiled (Totally fair goal). Despite that, he was able to show some empathy to the British child, even going as far as to give him a disk during his exile. This all makes me say Slytherin on him.
Michaelmcchill
Newest boy. Michael is a very apathetic person, showing little to no empathy towards most people’s trauma on the server. The person he does feel empathy for however is Dream, who of course did nothing wrong and is locked up in the prison which is just horrible oh no. Michael just truly does not care about what you’ve been through (as of now) which is why I’m gonna say Slytherin, because he does have Slytherin loyalty towards Mr Was Taken.

Faded
Book/Pairing: The Royal Romance; Leo x Madeleine
Warning: angst (some dark discussion that would give away the plot); smut 🍋 (awkward, NOT sexy); language
Word Count: 3008 (+/-)
Song Inspiration: Faded by Alan Walker ft. Iselin Solheim (lyrics quoted in the text)
A/N: This is a Royal Roulette, technically, but then again, RR was created specifically for Wacky Drabbles, and I just couldn't get the word count down! Oops! Anyway, this idea came to me when I heard this song, and this story needed to be told. Some of it is canon; some of it is creative canon; some of it, well, we'll call it creativity. lol Any and all of these ideas came from my head, but I acknowledge that others have probably written similar stories (purely coincidental).
Huge special thanks to some of my sweet writing friends: @ao719, @charlotteg234, and @kat-tia801. This took a group effort, and I love you ladies so very much for pre-reading and making this story better. And as always, these characters belong to our friends at Pixelberry!
***
He was a rushing wind; my billowing sails drift me into the unknown, but I don’t care. He’s an incinerating inferno: every tradition I was taught was set ablaze by his touch. My caged heart was unlocked by him; he set the monsters running wild inside of me. In my world of propriety and decorum, he taught me to live; more importantly, he dared me to love.
He broke free: from the customs, our culture, the captivity of our world. He broke free.
Without me. And the mess is all mine to clean up, left with only a picture of our passion--a photo of the love we once shared together. But even that is fading, and will be lost.
I’m alone with my thoughts this morning on my walk. The bite of salt in the coastal breeze tickles my nose, inviting my platinum strands into a carefree dance amongst the sunrise. Adjusting my oversized tortoise-shell sunglasses, my bare toes leave the comfort of the white sand beach only to discover the sting of the barnacle laden steps to the stone jetty. But, the shallow waters never met what I needed. My soul craves to commune with the waves from the deep.
I’m lost; there isn’t enough time in the world to think this through, and yet somehow a decision has to be made. God, where are you now? Was it all in my fantasy? Were you imaginary?
Many described our relationship as ‘destiny’--no, not exactly the romance you read about in foolish fairy tales or hear about in silly love songs. Our families ran in the same spheres of wealth and power. Politics. We are royalty. Since we were close in age, we would spend countless hours together throughout our childhood and teenage years. Being the oldest son to the king, he is--well, he was--the crowned prince of Cordonia; an agreement to our nuptials started well-before my formal training specifically for his social season.
But, something was different about Leo and me. We grew quite fond of each other, a friendship that developed into sharing secret kisses in darkened corners. Was this normal for friendships? Or did we have something deeper? Was this love?
As long as I can remember, I was taught my body was not my own; I was born with a greater purpose, and in that purpose, I would bring honor to my family and my name. I would earn my place in history: a woman who gave of herself everything she could for the sake of a country. Even love.
My reputation is to be held in the highest regard. My efforts in style and wardrobe would be subject to conversation and scrutiny. My eloquence and table etiquette could determine whether or not I’d be fit to be a queen. Every eye movement, every smile, every response could bring honor or dishonor to my family. No one cared about me as long as I presented a pristine package to court, a sacrificial lamb for king and country.
But, when the moment came for me to be chosen as his bride, I felt the swelling of joy inside my chest, bursting like strobes of light for everyone to witness. Suddenly the ideas of ‘the one’ and ‘happily ever after’ that I read about in the great classics teased my senses; I wanted to cry, to scream, to laugh. My body had a sudden thirst, a yearning for him that I didn’t understand.
In my innocence, this could only be one thing.
“Countess Madeleine,” he knowingly grins, “will you do me this honor?”
Swallowing thickly, her jade eyes flutter open at the sound of her name. In a handsomely fit tux, adorning his family colors in full regalia, her future husband, the future king of Cordonia, takes a knee to present the stunning canary solitaire. The dread melts away as the butterflies overcome her nerves.
Keeping with propriety, she nods her head while curtly dabbing away tears. But, something is distracting her: she is to be relishing in her accomplishment of winning the honor, for winning all of the glory, for winning the crown. She is to be the next queen of Cordonia.
But she is overwhelmed by all thoughts of him, her husband-to-be, the father to their future children. Suddenly the life she had been training for didn’t matter; she was betrothed and in love.
Smoothing out the tightness of my heathered linen pants, I take a moment to stare at my empty ring finger. I feel soreness from the collection of tears, but I refuse to allow anymore drop on his behalf. Today is hard enough.
I hug my body, remembering the warmth of his intimate touch. I had kept myself pure for him. Until that night.
Within an hour of making his intentions known to the court, Leo scurries away with his future bride, leaving only a trail of giggles and whispers along the way to his chambers.
Shrugging off his jacket, Leo presses her petite body against the locked door. His hand gently cradles her head, his thumb tracing the length of her jaw. His lips hungrily search hers, wolfishly devouring her mouth before she can react.
“Is this okay?” he whispers under his breath, his smoldering gaze entraps her innocent eyes. Breathlessly focused on his swelling lips, she nods her head dutifully.
He places his hands on her waist before sliding them intently back onto the curves of her ass, grabbing at her fullness under her whimper. A growl becomes his breathing, staring at his prey.
“Do you love me, my future queen?”
Love. Was that love?
The hypnotic rise and fall of the waves is starting to sour my stomach, but the ocean spray is so inviting and calming on my clammy skin. Finding a smooth stone, I seek refuge from the surge of the sea’s tantrum. Relaxing under the gentle rays of the morning sunshine, I close my eyes, only to see him.
He cheats her out of her next breath, his tongue overwhelming her mouth. His eager fingers find the zipper to her ballgown. He paws at her back, his fingers brushing against the secret skin of her body.
Her bra tosses to the wayside; admiring his new found treasure, Leo’s hands plunder her supple curves. His mouth plummets to her hardening nipples, his teeth teasing her nerves with fear. The sudden twinge of pleasure thrashes her head against the door.
“Shall I continue, beautiful?” he exhales, catching his breath; but, before an answer is uttered, he stumbles back into the temptation of her perfect body. His fingers tease across the waistband of her petal pink briefs; her eyes cinch closed, her mouth unable to hold back a moan.
“Someone is enjoying themselves,” he chuckles, standing to tower over her. He kisses her cheek, leaning his mouth close to her ear. “Is this what you want?” He tucks a strand behind her ear.
“Mhmm,” her lips curl slightly, leaning into his touch.
“Do you like what I am doing for you?”
“Yes,” she softly groans.
“Yeah?” He reaches into her panties, her knees buckling to the wandering of his fingers. “Mmmm,” he pulls his hand out, licking his fingertips, “that’s my good girl. You love my touch.” He stands back, shaking off her body. Locking his eyes with hers, he casually steps backwards until he reaches the bed. He slides off his belt, unfastening his slacks.
“Come here,” he motions for her to step closer. “Show me your love for me.”
Madeleine’s eyes focus on his growing girth, bulging from his unzipped pants; but, then her gaze darts around the room. Surely he knows that she isn’t well-versed in such endeavors.
“Maddie?” he combs his fingers through her blonde tresses. “I love you. You know that, right?”
She closes her eyes. The words send a jolt of happiness through her veins. She was experiencing love. She was prepared for everything else, but this?
"Then, let me show you,” he growls, pushing her back onto the bed. Hungrily ripping off her panties, he exposes her to his touch. Youthful and pure. "Are you ready?"
He spreads her legs apart, her thighs trembling. She grips the sheets with her tiny fists. Her doe-like eyes stare into his hunting blues as she feels him touch her again; but this time, it wasn't his fingers.
With an inexperienced push of his hips, red flashes before Madeleine's eyes as she squints her eyes in pain, hiding the gathering of tears. He thrusts again; her teeth gnash at the breaking of her body. Her head thrashes back and forth, groaning as she serves a penance under his rhythmic plunges into her warm, narrow core again and again. Harder and harder. Faster. Deeper.
Without warning, the beating of her body stops, leaving her stretched, completely filled with him. Moaning her name in the company of obscenities, his breathing becomes quick and shallow despite his efforts to slow down. Sweat gathers across his brow as he savors the delicate tightness of her depths. Stumbling into his ecstasy, he loses control, pouring himself into her. The sudden rush of fullness makes her whimper, the sting begins to dull as a smile crawls across her face. His lips meet her soft, glowing skin. Finally, it’s over.
That night: it was so long ago. But, I can still feel it; I can still feel him. The smell and taste of him lingers on my tongue. I miss him.
And with that, my breathing labors as I choke out a sob. I press the back of my hand to my lips as tears cloud my vision from the Mediterranean horizon. A sour pang creeps up my throat as I cradle my tender belly with my other hand. Clenching my eyes closed, I hope to hold back the downpour of tears from my soul. God, please not again.
Madeleine's head rests on Leo's shoulder, his strong arm securely around her exposed body. Her marigold diamond catches the pale moonlight perfectly, it's brilliance mesmerizing the bride-to-be as she subtly teeters her hand on his well-structured chest. He suddenly engulfs her hand with his. Turning towards him, her lips meet his perfectly like the final piece of the puzzle, locking seamlessly in place.
"Runaway with me, Madeleine."
The flecks of evergreen in her eyes sparkle with curiosity. "What--?"
"This life, Maddie," he gently rubs her back, "is this really the life that you want-- that you'd want for us?"
She sits up, taken aback from the peculiar question. "You mean the life we're living right now? Us? Being engaged?”
“Yes--I mean, no. I--” Leo stumbles over his words, dragging his hand across his face. “I love you, and I want to be with you--” he pushes a platinum strand behind her ear, “--but do you ever wonder what it’s like out there? Out in the real world? Away from all of this pressure? Away from all of these rules?”
“Away from the public eye? Living life--” she titters into a big smile, “--like everyday people?"
"Yes." He sighs, pressing her hand against his heart. "Before long, we will be in charge. In charge, Maddie. Of an entire country." There is a quake in his voice, a quiver that even makes her feel chilled. "I don’t think I’m cut out for this,” a breath hitches in his chest. “Will I even be a good king?"
“Of course," she whispers, offering a doting smile, “Of course, Leo," her voice becomes stronger, authoritative. “You can do this. You were made for this. And while, yes, you are the king, you’re not alone.” She laces her fingers with his. “You’ll always have me. You have my support--” she kisses the back of his hand, “and most of all, you have my love.” She leans down to kiss his hand again, but rather he captures her in his arm, bringing her to his lips, making her squeal.
“I love you, Madeleine.”
She moans into his pout as he kisses her once more. “I love you, too, Leo.”
The creaminess to his baritone voice dissipates from my memory, fading away much like our love. How could I have been so foolish? I gave him everything--I promised him everything. My life, my whole existence was for him, and I naively thought that love would somehow stitch us together, that somehow we would be the monarchs that did have it all. Wealth. Power. Love. A happily-ever-after that could join the rankings of the greatest love stories ever told.
But, it wasn't enough. I wasn't enough.
The sudden rapping on the door abruptly wakes Madeleine from a deep sleep. The sunlight pours mercilessly through the windows as she grabs the sheets to cover herself.
The door suddenly tramples open, Constantine bounding first into the room, followed by his head guard Bastien. “Where is he? Where’s Leo?” The king sneers as the blonde trips out of bed, reaching for clothing. “For God’s sakes, couldn’t you two show some fucking self-control?”
Madeleine cinches the high-thread-count sheet around her body, leaving her slender shoulders and décolleté exposed. As a blush crawls across her face, the question begins to haunt her: where is Leo? He wasn’t in bed this morning. In fact, his clothes are missing from their disheveled heap that was next to her discarded dress. His watch and cell phone were missing from the bedside table. But, otherwise everything seemed to be in place.
Madeleine rushes to the ensuite bathroom, hoping to find a logical clue to Leo’s whereabouts there.
"Call him. Now," the king growls at the anxious countess.
"He's not answering us, Countess Madeleine. We assume given your current relationship with his majesty--" Madeleine nods in understanding.
"I'm sorry, but the phone number you're trying to reach has been disconnected or is no longer in service."
Her eyebrows furrow as she ends the call. "I--I--I don't understand," she stammers, rubbing her forehead with her fingers. "His phone has been disconnected--"
"Fucking ungrateful--” growls Constantine, ripping the phone from Madeleine's tiny hand, “--selfish son of a bitch!" He throws the phone against the wall, shattering it into pieces. He gruffly turns towards his future daughter-in-law. “Are you certain you dialed the right number?" He spits. Madeleine braces herself against a wall, turning her face away from him. She carefully nods, refusing to make eye contact. “Unbelievable!” Constantine knocks over some antique silver candelabras before exiting the room, leaving Bastien behind.
“Sir?’ Madeleine quietly calls to the guard, drawing closer to him, ensuring her body is covered. “What is all the commotion about? Where is Leo?”
“Leo failed to report to his morning engagements about last night festivities. According to our cameras, he left this morning through the northwest gate in an unmarked black Sudan around o’four hundred hours.”
Madeleine cups her mouth as she stumbles to sit down on the bed. She nervously combs her fingers through her tangled tresses. “What does this mean?” She spouts nervously, her body shaking with tears gathering in her eyes.
“Please try not to worry, ma’am,” Bastien carefully places a comforting hand on her bare shoulder, quickly withdrawing it when their eyes awkwardly meet at the gesture. “Um--” he clears his throat, “--I don’t know what he’s doing, but we will find him.” He turns on his heel to leave Madeleine alone when suddenly a thought hits him. “By any chance, did he mention anything to you?”
‘Runaway with me, Madeleine.’ One simple request. He asked me to just simply follow him. I thought he was joking or simply making a hypothetical request due to his uneasy nerves; but, my love for him aside, this was my calling: to serve him. If I had chosen to honor him rather than challenge him… if I had chosen to remind him of responsibility and duty rather than trying to win him over with ludicrous ideas of love in marriage…
Leo abdicated the throne.
No one speaks about royalty relinquishing their responsibilities. We’re born into this; we were made to do this. We spend our entire lives preparing, being told that it is an honor to bear such greatness, it is an honor to host such power. No one speaks of the alternative. Truth be told: if we knew there was a way to escape, to renounce such a life as this, how many of us would take that chance?
It’s been seven weeks since that awful morning. Seven weeks of silence and darkness. Seven weeks of broken dreams and false hope. Seven weeks of only one absolution: Leo had found his freedom. He wasn't coming back.
I pull out the photograph of our love just one more time as the tears gather once more in my eyes. Leo’s last words to me were ‘I love you;’ but somehow as I trace my fingers amongst the black and white print, I have to say, ‘goodbye’ for both of us this morning.
“Ms. Amaranth?”
“Yes, ma’am?” Madeleine wakes from her daydream, her voice trembling. She chews incessantly on her nails as her crossed legs bounce nervously. The sterile white walls around her seem to be closing in around her; the air grows thick, stifling. “I’m sorry. What did you say?”
The dark brunette stands to come closer to the blonde. She straightens out her white coat while fixing an endearing smile on her face. She sits down next to Madeleine, taking her hand. “I asked if you are sure about this decision?”
If Madeleine had learned anything in the past two months, it's that she could only be sure about nothing. She stares at her bobbing toe, hypnotically entranced with the clicking of the clock in the exam room.
“There are other options," the doctor continues. "Adoption. Keeping the baby.”
I tear up the ultrasound picture in my hands, letting the wind chase it to the sea. The tattered pieces drift for a place to rest, sinking to the depths my soul will forever crave, a secret place far too precious for this world. For my world.
Goodbye, love.

which teen wolf characters are swifties? (according to me and @thesewordsareallihavetogive)
*spoiler alert: it’s all of them
stiles stilinski: probably the biggest one on this list. this boy goes HARD CORE. he’s got a jake gyllenhaal hate account out there somewhere. and he FUCKS IT UP to no body, no crime (and so does his dad, let’s be real). evermore in general is his favorite, though you’d have to put a gun to his head to pick seconds.
scott mccall: absolutely. stiles will absolutely deny it, but scott is the one who first played him her music back when they were in lower school. he loves the classics like red, but has a sweet spot for folklore too.
lydia martin: you know she is. everything about her screams it. her favorite is speak now, but i can’t explain why. it just… is.
allison argent: of course. and right off the bat her favorites are fearless and reputation because duh. the archer is an ode to her, and she knows it, and rubs it in lydia’s face. (and of course no body, no crime. shameless plug for lauren’s story which can be found on her account)
derek hale: unpopular opinion but no, he wouldn’t be. that is, if anyone asked him. but when he is by himself with his little earbuds in, this man will absolutely power through her discography. “evermore is his go to because it’s all sad and angsty” - lauren
malia tate: she didn’t get it at first. what everyone was so obsessed with. but the longer she’s been human, the more it resonates with her. it actually helped her more with the emotional and metaphorical stuff. but still- rep is her favorite album, obviously. and now she’s the kind of person who will be like “stiles i’m breaking up with you so i can fully appreciate red (tv)”
kira yukimura: she is. she loves the sweet stuff like 1989 and lover. but she jams out to the basic stuff too like “you belong with me” and just the teen romcom kind of stuff.
liam dunbar: yes. yes he is. his two favorite albums are either taylor swift for the classics, or reputation because he wants to feel like a badass. also def went to see the fearless concert back when she toured.
mason hewitt: same as scott and stiles, liam and mason are the dynamic duo of taylor stans. they’ll be chilling, playing video games, drinking mountain dew, the whole frat boy thing. except there… in the background… is miss americana and the heartbreak prince. unsurprisingly, his favorite album is lover (but also lowkey folklore).
isaac lahey: he says he hates taylor swift because she’s so mainstream. but he gave himself away when stiles made a scarf comment/reference that he immediately responded to, outing himself. red is obviously his favorite, so he couldn’t help himself.
peter hale: the best way to describe it is this direct quote. “peter would be debut & red istg he’s so HQJSHDJEHEJE” - lauren
bonus: melissa mccall loves fearless and that is that.
#LMAO i wrote out stiles’ whole this literally forgetting about the fact that dylan was in all too well#it’s fate#teen wolf#taylor swift
